Using Baby Balloons
Balloons are a welcome addition to any party, gathering or event. They are by far the most popular accessory used worldwide for all sorts of occasions. They are widely used as decorations at baby functions like baby showers, baby naming ceremonies and in some cases, christenings. If you’ve ever hosted a party or have been a guest for a special occasion, you know that balloons are everywhere. They can be found floating all over the place at birthday parties, ceremonies and especially at special events like New Years Eve celebrations. Nothing says party louder than a room full of balloons.
Balloons are one of the most amazing decorative items that children encounter and they make this obvious by their interest in them. Small children especially are known to grab balloons and attempt to bite them; this can result in the balloon blowing and sending small pieces of material into the child’s eyes, nose and mouth. Adults need to keep a watchful eye on children around balloons, especially helium-filled balloons that float. Many people do not realize that helium-inflated balloons present a hazard to wildlife and are a danger to children. This is why it is never a good idea to let children inflate balloons using helium tanks. It can be very dangerous to the health of adults and children alike.
We strongly recommend caution when using helium-inflated balloons and all balloons in general when they will be around children. Do not attach them to baby beds, makeshift beds or high chairs. And under no circumstances should you allow children to inflate balloons without supervision.
